Startup Story with Stephen Kuhl, Burrow

Recently, we had the pleasure to sit down and chat with Stephen Kuhl, co-founder and CEO of Burrow. The NYC-based startup sells modular furniture over the internet, which allows them to create a better buying experience for customers. Kuhl explains that "in this day and age there are companies that are trying to commercialize space travel, but when you want to buy a sofa, it's a really painful experience." Their direct-to-consumer business model allows them to ship couches in less time and for less money, and, once delivered, the couch can be assembled in 10 minutes (tool free). Burrow has raised $19.2M to date, as they continue to disrupt the furniture industry.

As we spoke with Stephen about his entrepreneurial story, we learned what goes into creating an innovative company: the idea, investors, challenges, and more. Here is his Startup Story.
